On behalf of Mr. King, welcome to another exciting season of Jazz music study and performances. Our program is in constant growth and we are looking forward to another great year ahead.
In order for this program to succeed, we are requesting that all families join the Spartan Band Booster Organization. The Booster organization is vital to the success of the South High Band program. Through their fundraising efforts; purchasing new instruments and equipment; helping to organize and chaperone off-site events/ trips; and facilitating guest speakers/instructors, we, as Jazz members benefit by this group. Our participation in many events will be discussed at the monthly Booster meetings, the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room, (next door to the band room) to discuss events on the calendar, and new last minute events, not on the schedule.
Thank you for promptly returning the Jazz Information Sheet, payment and Medical Release Form, (even if you already filled one out for Marching Band) to the band room lockbox.
