Grade Level: 9, 10, 11, 12, Semester Course – 5 Physical Education Credits Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in approved SHS Instrumental Music Ensemble or Color Guard. The Spartan Marching Band performs for all South High home football games as well as field competitions and parades. The Spartan marching band rehearses twice a week. Rehearsals are generally Monday night from 6-9 PM and Thursday night from 5-8 PM during the fall semester. All Advanced Band and Wind Ensemble members must participate in the Spartan Marching Band. Exceptions are granted to students participating in either the Varsity or Junior Varsity football program. There will be a required TUSD transportation fee per student. |
